Music Therapy
Empowering every voice

‘The opportunity to be heard is an opportunity to heal.’

Holly, S

Music That Meets You Where You Are

Wherever you are in your journey

I will listen to you and meet you there with music.

What Happens in Music Therapy

My approach to music therapy is both person-centred and music-centred. This means we create music together—in whatever way feels right for you. Whether through singing familiar songs, playing instruments, improvising, or song writing, the process is always collaborative. It’s about connection, creativity, and supporting your emotional and personal journey through music.

No musical experience is needed—just a willingness to explore.

Services

I offer unique music therapy sessions for individuals and groups. Use music to create a space that help people express themselves and attain well-being through collaborative music-making. Alongside music therapy practice, I facilitate Sound Bath healing and vocal coaching.

Meet Kay

I was born and raised in Hong Kong and am now based in Manchester. I provide music therapy in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. As a qualified music therapist trained in the Nordoff & Robbins approach, I am registered with the HCPC and a member of the British Association for Music Therapy (BAMT). I also hold an enhanced DBS check.

I bring empathy and flexibility to my practice. I have supported people across a wide range of settings—including neurology rehabilitation, dementia care, mental health services, and with neurodivergent children and adults—using music to foster connection, expression, and wellbeing.

Alongside music therapy, I’m also a songwriter, sound bath practitioner, and singing coach. At the heart of everything I do is a belief in music’s ability to connect and celebrate people where they are and help them feel heard.
